The GROUNDED Experience
What is a GROUNDED Experience?
GROUNDED™ is a facilitated, experiential wellbeing programme combining gentle reflection, accessible psychoeducation and practical opportunities to notice how we experience ourselves in relation to others.
The Experience draws on the programme developer's therapeutic background and professional experience, while remaining clearly distinct from individual therapy.
Growers are invited to explore how their experiences, working conditions, responses and needs can influence the way they feel and relate.
The approach is grounded in choice, curiosity and compassion.
Our approach
Experience before explanation.
We begin with opportunities to notice and wonder rather than telling people what they should think or feel.
Invitation rather than expectation.
Growers decide how they engage. Speaking, writing, drawing, thinking quietly or leaving something blank are all welcome.
Understanding rather than judgement.
Patterns and coping responses are approached with curiosity, not blame.
The wider picture matters.
GROUNDED™ recognises that workplace pressures, organisational systems and external circumstances affect wellbeing. Responsibility for change does not rest solely with individuals.
Small movements matter.
Change does not always mean doing more. Sometimes it means resting, waiting, asking for support or recognising what is not ours to carry.
Important boundaries
GROUNDED™ is a psychoeducational wellbeing Experience, not a substitute for therapy, clinical care, crisis support, professional supervision or an employer's duty to provide safe working conditions.
Personal disclosure is never required.
